Prayer to Loki

When the gods grew to comfortable in their unending life,
you stole the apples that kept them young and made them face age.
When they sought to cheat the giant of the wages of his work,
they turned to you to save themselves.
When Thor grew to sure of his strength to kill Chaos,
you showed him that craftiness is as necessary as raw power.
Loki, god of unpleasant truths, open my eyes to my own limits.
It is only by seeing them that I can overcome them.
